Fear of God!

As a nation we have completely forgotten what fearing the Lord really means! Sin has become such a normality today. We have made sin out to be okay! What does fear really mean! Fear isn't only a crawl back in a little space and tremble kind of thing. It is a respectable and holy thing! We fear God because He is our Light and Salvation and because our sin condemns us. God is completely just in distributing His wrath! God is completely Holy and is spotless, without Sin. We need to be cleansed through our fear of God! We are wretched and are hopeless without Christ! We have no hope, no love, no grace, no mercy without the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! My challenge: Come to the knowledge of what fearing the Lord really means in your life. Our nation has lost grasp of what it means to fear the Lord! Conformity has become the popular thing to do. How do we grasp the fear the Lord! We READ the WORD OF GOD! Here is a few verses in the WORD to meditate on. When we read His Word we come to desire it more and we find ourselves needing more and more.

Psalm 110:9-10
the fear of the Lord is clean,

enduring forever;

the rulesOr just decrees

and righteous altogether.

More to be desired are they than Ps. 119:72, 127; Prov. 8:10

Too many people putting hope into Obama!

So I have been pulling clips off of various websites, mainly youtube about Barack Obama and his followers for the TV show that I help produce. There are people dedicating songs to Obama about the World changing if he were to be elected. I have even pulled various clips where different people are calling Obama the Messiah? Make no mistake this is very dangerous! Now I am not making the claim that Obama has declared to be Messiah cause I know that would just be absurd! But the people claiming to this fact are very blind! As a profound Christian it will be no surprise for me to make the statement that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and there is none other that we can place our hope in for LIFE! Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through ME." Do you think that if Obama is elected that the tornadoes will stop? When he takes office will the hurricanes cease? When elected will the earthquakes hold back? Absolutely not! And I know that these are absurd questions to ask but I think that they are very valid in this situation, because when we put hope in other people then our expectations rise even to an extreme level. There is no doubt that this country is under distress with the economy and all but we must come to realize that we are a Wretched people and are completely lost and hopeless without God! As a nation we have turned our backs against an Almighty, Just and Loving God and turned to gadgets, materials and self idolazation! We need to repent and turn back to God and plea with Him that our Country is in distress and that we need Him desparately! I hope that whoever reads this will turn to God and call on His name! "For every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord." I pray that eyes would be open to the Truth and hearts would be open to The SAVIOR.

This is a greek word that means "Truth". In the Old Testament the Law was given by Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). So what exactly is truth? Pontius Pilot asked this question to Jesus as he was put on before a trial. Amazingly Pontius walked away from the most authoritative person in history after asking one of THE most important questions ever to be asked! Jesus said, "For this reason I was born, and for this reason I came into the world, to testify to the truth (John 18:37). John 14:6 says Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." The word Truth is found in the New Testament 109 times in different form. Truth is obviously important in the scriptures and the only way we can find truth is in Christ! John 8:32 also states, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall se you free! We have fallen short of the glory of God and the only way to Life is Jesus Christ! In Romans Paul writes a letter to Rome about how many of the people exchanged the truth of God for a lie by worshipping created things instead of the creator (Romans 1:25). Truth is found in the word of God. John 17:17 says, "Sanctify them in truth; your word is truth. Truth is also revealed by the Spirit of Truth. Before Jesus ascended into heaven he told the disciples that it was good for him to leave them because he would send a Helper. This helper is the spirit of Truth or as most know one of three within the trinity, the Holy Spirit. As we read the Word of God, the Spirit guides us in truth! TRUTH is Important in our lives and it is important for us to follow and live by the Truth! I hope that this post encourages you and that the truth will set you Free!

Beginning the Blogging....

Well I have been meaning to get around to start up a blog page for a while now and just haven't made enough effort in doing so. I had time to get a blog started so I have now successfully created a blogging page! This ought to be interesting because i work for a TV show called "Wretched" that presents a lot of controversial issues and well... I should have a lot of stuff flying on my blog constantly. I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ and I live my life for Him, that He might be glorified! With that being said I look forward to begin the blogging experience!
